Smiling Artist Studios was born from both passion and perseverance. As a family-owned business in Round Rock, Texas, we’re more than an art studio—we're a place where healing, growth, and creativity come together.

I’m Danay Kennedy, the founder of Smiling Artist Studios. This space was inspired not just by my love for the arts, but by my personal journey through breast cancer. During one of the most difficult times of my life, art became my refuge. It gave me strength, purpose, and a way to reconnect with myself. Out of that experience came a desire to create a space where others could find their own inspiration and healing through creativity.

Our mission is to support local artists and help them grow—not just as creatives, but as individuals. We offer hands-on workshops, family-friendly events, and studio space for expression, learning, and connection. Whether you're just starting out or building your portfolio, we’re here to uplift and encourage you.
